This individual will function as the top-tier technical underwriter for new and renewal larger middle-market complex accounts, will partner with the agencies to improve P&L, and will mentor/train other underwriters. (Servicing of accounts is handled by support staff.) Minimal travel.
The ideal candidate:
A well- organized self-starter with strong analytical, decision making and communication skills
5-7+ years of successful commercial P&C multi-line underwriting experience. Middle market preferred.
Degree required and Insurance Designation (CPCU, AU) preferred
Experience mentoring other underwriters
Working knowledge of MS Office Suite programs
